[#:guile %guile-static-initrd] [#:name "guile-initrd"] Return as a file-like object a Linux initrd (a gzipped cpio archive) containing @var{guile} and that evaluates @var{exp}, a G-expression, upon booting. All the derivations referenced by @var{exp} are automatically copied to the initrd.

When a package has more than one output it can be a challenge to refer to a specific output instead of just to the standard @code{out} output. For these situations one can use the @code{specifications->packages} procedure from the @code{(gnu packages)} module. For example:
